Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children sounds like a fairly self explanitary title, and i wouldnt want to spoil the magic of reading it by going in to too much detail about the plot. but in short it's about a boy named Jacob who goes serching for answers to the mysteries left by his grandfather, and discovers some things, including himself, are more peculiar than he originally believed.

This book is engaging, suspensful, creepy, a little weird, and above all very peculiar. With photos incorperated beautifuly in to the story to give it a much different feel from ordinary books and a plot line so completely different from anything i've read before, im not even sure its comparable to anything written before! Though I will say if you like this book you should check out Asylum by Madeleine Roux because it has a sort of similar feel to it and was also really good!

This book wasnt as creepy as I was expecting it to be, as I've seen a lot of reviews saying how scary it was, I personally found it entertaining more than anything else in a captivating sort of way that kept me reading until 3am to finish it!! I definitley recommend checking it out and i greatly look forward to reading the second and third(to be released soon) books in this series!
