Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

This book took me over a month to really focus on just because life was very busy and because i wasnt immidiatly captivated by it. The beginning was important yet still slower than i would like for a simple YA Dystopian fiction book. Because of this i wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was.

One day at the beginning of summer vacation i decided to spend some time on it and ended up reading most of it in about 6 hours.

Under The Never Sky shows a captivating image of the future, with a well developed plot line and an intense love story. The main characters Aria (a city girl who has lived a sheltered futuristic life inside the walls) and Perry (an outsider who has lead a life of hardship with his tribe) are unique, well developed characters who are easy to care about and who's personalities embody what its like to live in their individual realities. Part of what made the book seem to have a slow begining is that as soon as i started to get in to one of their stories it would jump to the other's point of view and show a very different reality, this problem is fixed hoever when they meet soon after the first few chapters of the book.

i would definitly recomend this to fans of The Hunger Games and Divergent along whith anyone in the mood for some cool futuristic ideas and captivating romance!
